anyway, Cambodia really has such rich history and culture, we've seen most of its facets, one being the Angkor times, and i finally got to see the Angkor wat in its splendor! the carvings are so beautiful its really unbelievable. I don't think words can even describe what my eyes have seen, and the pictures are really a far cry from how grand it is. We've also seen the horrible prisons, torture cambers and mass graves of the victims of the recent Khmer Rouge killings. i cannot believe such an atrocity could even happen and that i was actually stepping on the soil where the victims were tortured and killed heartlessly. and there was the modern side of Cambodia as well, with tonnes of shopping on good days (stolen goods from brands like La Senza [my personal fave 6:], Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale, H&M etc), nice fruits and FOOD andddddd THE CLICK FIVE. you'll never believe that we bumped into them on the drive back to Sinhanoukville (a beach town), sat through an acoustic set wide-eyed with shock, and given tickets to the MTV Exit show in Phnom Penh (: Kyle is super hot :D and we actually talked. Ben the keyboardist actually blogged about meeting us (: !!
on the day of the MTV Exit show, which showcases artistes from all over Cambodia as well as The Click Five, we waited from 4pm all the way till 10 plus for Click Five.. sick ): and we left halfway because it can get pretty dangerous and Muy Lan's dad got pretty angry. Muy Lan was such a great hostess honestly, and we really had so much fun! (: Can't wait to see their photos! OK, part 2 soon! (I left my specs in Cambodia, i've got to collect my new pair later... i'm so unlucky... haha.)
