my second time hitting the slopes!

wee! hello everybody! i'm back from my second ski trip!! it was an unwise decision to head down today since it was so crowded because of monday being a public holiday- martin luther king day. ): the carpark was jam packed with people seeking a weekend getaway. it made the ski lifts, magic carpets, slopes and pulleys incredibly crowded and you had to queue! plus the temperature was 9 degrees (and i could just walk around with a top) and in normal circumstances it would have been a very nice temperature.... but not when you're intending to ski!!!!

we headed down there with a whole group of singapore students from CMU AND MY LANDLORD!!! hahahahaha who skis with their landlord you tell me?! well, even though i've been here for less than a month i must say our relationship with our landlord is an awesome one. he invites us to basketball games and wants to bring us in the afternoon to monroeville for another ski practice! my landlord (nardo) is SUPER good at skiing!!! he's like 77 wrinkly but super cute and lovable! haha. btw did you know he owns an airport in US? haha he's filthy rich, and was selling AIRPLANES!!! omg and he's a pilot too! haha. and as i was saying people here have very unique hobbies like hunting, skiing, horseback riding, flying (planes!), skydiving etc. it makes me wonder if i should even go back to the boring old mundane singapore.

anyway that's our landlord... so cute right?! hahahaha

ok! i need to study now, got lots of homework to do ): ): textbooks have just arrived via USPS ): MEOOWWWW. the homework here's all GRADED unlike singapore which sucks big time. hahaha.
