Welcome to Nowhere

YES! i finally feel like i'm out of this century-long slumber, and being welcomed back into civilization.  i have to start packing for my epic spring break trip tonight, and tomorrow i'll be heading down to some shops near atwood street to get my shopping finalized! (:

SPRING BREAK IS HERE!!! (not yet, but i feel that way already)

i have this really long wishlist. hahaha:

i'm so fortunate to have an american apparel 3 minutes away from my school haha. the only shitty part about american apparel is that when you head in it's so messy you have no idea what you were looking for in the first place. zzz. and the prices are o_O but they make really good basics imho.

and this, looks really good in reality. ): i don't know why i didn't get it though. plus a pair of sunnies and sunblock! (grah i'm still thinking about the nine west ones) and i'm done with my packing list (:

p.s: i really wanna catch alice in wonderland but some of my friends here are catching it on fri- THE DAY I HEAD TO VEGAS ): maybe i'll find a way to catch it in cali. oh and one more thing- i really need a fake ID.

p.p.s: i bought 3 lifehouse t-shirts in preparation for their boston gig and it's so freaking expensive la. it's made in china (confirm) and cheap to replicate plus it's not even fashionable for girls!!!!!! (and i'm saying this even though i'm a fan) hahaha *grumbles incoherently* but it's okay... all for the fun of it....

oh and one more thing- this is how ethiopian food looks like:

it was pretty interesting, you had to use your hands to eat the bread and the dips (which is pretty much what they do in india and the middle east)! the dishes were pretty much like curry, and i liked quite a few of them! they used lots of cottage cheese, similar to indian and egyptian cuisine! haha, i didn't realise how strong the influence was! it was pretty good but not very filling ): i wish i ordered rice though.

finally, this was joseph's homemade birthday cake! it's the best homemade cake i've ever tasted in my life. hahaha. it's a victoria sponge cake, a british tea cake and it's filled with strawberries (me likey!!)! (: bianca baked it cos she was craving it since her undergrad days in the UK hahahahahha. and we can all say it's pretty much an excuse to celebrate joseph's birthday... hurhurhur. and joseph if you're reading this, sad not? hahaha!!!!
