Snowmageddon

hi everyone! school has been cancelled for yet another day and i'm not complaining at all. i seem to be suffering from winter depression especially when i pull the blinds down so now i've decided to draw them up so i can look at the road and see some sun. the snow's getting increasingly heavy now and it's making me quite sian. i mean i do wanna see snow but i don't wish to see 2 feet of snow each time i leave the house.... it's gonna get much much worse by the end of tomorrow (cos that's how long the next snow storm is gonna last).

i didn't realise how bad this snow storm was till yesterday when i was reading the pittsburgh post-gazette, and i found out that there were two cases of deaths in west virginia related to carbon monoxide inhalation due to the snow storm. i also found out that my city is in a state of emergency (and there isn't much food left in giant eagle, everyone's buying things off the shelves. it was insane... we had to wait for a shopping cart)... hmmmm... i guess i really need to start reading the newspapers.

i kinda wish school will be cancelled for the rest of the week, and that the airport won't be closed on saturday morning so i can get to NYC! excited!!! managed to cancel the reservation for Hotel Carter. a super freaky hotel and a dirty one, thank God it was cancelled. plus i felt that we were overpaying for something so dirty (probably both supernaturally and physically). also, i didn't want to book a hotel only to cancel my flight should the airport be closed during the storm. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. totally bummed out.

p.s: i've jumped on the adium bandwagon (like finally) after being convinced by yumin. kinda love my adium layout i was so excited to log in when i woke up. hahah.
