ELEV∆TE is a platform for our youths to give new things a go. It’s a bottom up movement that pretty much takes shape from how the youths decide it should be. It’s about new platforms and new expressions. We hope this would be an avenue for them to express their creative gifting and talents through film, song, administration, creative design, playing musical instruments, preaching, leading worship etc. We hope to inspire the young people towards living their lives to the fullest in Christ and to go beyond mediocrity in their lives. We hope to do this is a way that is relevant and exciting for our young people.
This Saturday, our theme is VISION CHART.
Do we tire of seeing things the same way? Our vision gets narrow and the less we tend to it, the more tunneled it gets. It’s time to tune in to God, get our eyes checked, our vision realigned. This time round, we have 2 special guests who I know will interest many of our young people.
Isaiah Pang, our very own Youthnet songwriter who composed "Jesus Died for Me" will be sharing his thoughts on the unexpected success of his song and give tips on how to get started on songwriting!
Sim Yihui, our FCBC member was the co-leader of the Singapore Women's Everest Team that reached Everest Peak on 20 and 22 May this year. She will be sharing her experiences, her struggles and what it took to conquer the big mountain.
